Celebrate the Our Lady of Kibeho Shrine with Immaculée Ilibagiza

Registration is open for a special one-day event with Immaculée Ilibagiza celebrating our newest Marian shrine at The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The bestselling author and award-winning humanitarian will relay the story of Our Lady of Kibeho and the beautiful messages of the Blessed Mother. Participants will also learn and pray the Seven Sorrows Rosary.

The day includes two sessions, book signing with Ilibagiza, and Holy Mass with the Philadelphia Catholic Gospel Mass Choir and Praise Dancers. Books will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 per person. A light continental breakfast is also included.

While at the Basilica Shrine, we invite you to spend time visiting our various Marian cultural shrines, including the recently dedicated Our Lady of Kibeho Shrine, located in St. Vincent’s Rosary Walk.

About Our Speaker

Ilibagiza was born and raised in a small village in Rwanda, Africa. In 1994, her life was changed forever when a genocide took place in her country, leaving more than 1 million people dead.

Ilibagiza is the author of multiple books including Our Lady of Kibeho, which shares the story of the Virgin Mary appearing to young women in the remote village of Kibeho, Rwanda. Our Lady warned of the coming bloodshed, but said it could be averted if Rwandans opened their hearts to God and repented.

According to Ilibagiza’s website, her book “Our Lady of Kibeho” goes to the heart of these remarkable events. Immaculée Ilibagiza draws on her first-hand experiences, visiting the sites before and after the holocaust. There, she witnessed true miracles and had direct contact with the visionaries themselves. Her discoveries tell a powerful message of reconciliation, enlightenment and peace.
