Receive hope and peace through the meditative prayer request of a vigil candle.

Candles are symbolic prayer offerings to remember a deceased love one, request a special intention, or commemorate an event. Vigil candles at the Shrine represent a spiritual pilgrimage or prayer devotion through the intercession of Mary and her Miraculous Medal.

A secure parking lot (at Magnolia St. and Chelten Avenue) is available for all guests. Buses are welcome.

The Shrine is also easily accessible by Philadelphia public transportation: Suburban train or the Chestnut Hill East train from the Jefferson stop in Center City Philadelphia Northbound to the Chelten Avenue / Germantown stop.
