Join the De La Salle Chapel Choir for their annual spring concert, now a tradition at The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
This year’s theme is Hallowed Be. Find divinity and spirituality in music through a varied landscape transcending the boundaries that separate the sacred from the secular. The concert is comprised of music in both sacred and secular styles of music, including pieces from a variety of languages, traditions, periods of time, and cultures. This offering is crafted to foster a hallowed, spiritual experience, no matter the source.
The concert will also include the Hill Singers from Chestnut Hill College as special guests and feature music by composers including Rutter, Stopford, Warner, Tin, Powell, and Smallwood. John Lewis from La Salle University is the musical director for this wonderful event.
All are welcome to come and listen to this musical experience in hallowed sanctity, an arc of music that defies the expectations of what is sacred.
