Our Miraculous Medal Family invites you to place your intentions into the loving hands of Mary for comfort, prayer, and peace.
At the Basilica Shrine, prayer intentions and candle offerings are beautiful ways to seek Mary’s intercession and draw closer to God’s grace. You may choose to submit a prayer request, have a vigil candle lit for one year, or dedicate the sanctuary candle for one week. Each represents an act of faith, devotion, and hope, lifting your intentions into prayer at the Shrine.

Vigil Candles
Lighting a vigil candle is a beautiful way to offer your prayers and intentions at the Basilica Shrine. These candles are lit at one of several shrine locations in the Upper and Lower Shrines and serve as a lasting symbol of faith, devotion, and hope.
