Men on a Mission: Nine Young Vincentians Go to China, 1921

Our Solemn Novena theme this year is Men on a Mission: Nine Young Vincentians Go to China, 1921. Discover how these young men dedicated their missionary work to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal; see some of the artifacts they brought with them; and learn how the difficulties they faced can help us through our own challenges.

Join our Novena Masses virtually, beginning Monday, November 16, and ending with our Feast Day Mass on Wednesday, November 25. Masses are livestreamed each day at the times indicated below and are available to watch at www.MiraculousMedal.org/LiveStream.

The preacher for our Novena will be Fr. Timothy Lyons, CM.

Fr. Lyons is originally from the Immaculate Conception Parish in Germantown; he was ordained a priest in The Miraculous Medal Shrine in 1986 and assigned to St. Vincent Depaul Parish as parochial vicar.  In almost 35 years of priestly ministry, Father Lyons has been assigned to Germantown five times. He presently serves as assistant superior at St. Vincent’s Seminary, as well as vice president of a non-profit social enterprise that provides transitional employment for men and women returning to the community after a period of incarceration.
