Spanish Services at Shrine

Our Lady of Guadalupe

December 12 marks the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It commemorates when Mary showered her children with roses.
Now it’s our turn to shower Mary. Consider purchasing a Perpetual Remembrance Wall Rose Plaque or light a Vigil Candle. Click here to visit our Gift Shop to purchase.

The Miraculous Medal Shrine dedicates the first Tuesday of each month to our Latino community. The faithful, most of whom are from Central and South America, enjoy this opportunity to come together as one family with the Blessed Mother at the Shrine.

Spanish ministry at the Shrine focuses on family time, prayer, blessings, and building relationships between the people, who are all from many different Latino countries, remembering that they have one faith that unites them despite all their differences. One of the greatest joys of the Latino culture is the opportunity to share food and fellowship with family and friends.

The Miraculous Medal Shrine, home of the Perpetual Miraculous Medal Monday Novena, welcomes all visitors to our beautiful Shrine, located in the heart of Philadelphia. The Miraculous Medal Shrine provides a sanctuary for prayer, meditation, and pilgrimage to God and to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Visitors are also encouraged to enjoy our Art Museum’s historical collection of Marian and religious artwork.

The Spanish Mass and Novena are held the first Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Rosary is recited a half hour before 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. services
Confessions are held during 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. services.
Medal is imposition held after each service followed by a social in the Lower Shrine.
Each month highlights different occasions.

Additional celebrations include: Celebration in Honor of the Three Kings (January), Mother’s Day and Honoring Mary (May), Celebration in Honor of the Miraculous Medal Feast Day (November), and Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December).
