In fall 2022, Lynda D’Angelo joined the Beyond Sunday^TM team as the new Director of Program Development and Events. Lynda has had a longtime relationship with The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, a passion she shares with her four children.

A Storied Background in Catholic Education

With 16 years of experience in Catholic education and professional development, Lynda previously served as a volunteer outreach ambassador for The Basilica Shrine’s pilgrimage program, an important aspect of her devotion.

Her energy, background, and enthusiasm are obvious and contagious. “[My experience] has led me to my dream job [with the Beyond Sunday^TM program] for developing, teaching, catechizing, and sharing my devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Miraculous Medal,” says Lynda.

Building Educational Programming

In her new role, Lynda coordinates and facilitates the Backpack Blessing initiative, school spiritual programs, sacramental retreats, and educator/teacher workshops.

“I’m excited for the upcoming workshops, retreats, and spiritual programs, which combine my devotion to Mary, my passion for teaching, developing educational resources, and my desire to best support the vision of the Beyond Sunday^TM program,” states Lynda.
